Welcome to Secondary Math 2 Honors (also sometimes called "10th grade math"). I'm really looking forward to learning with you this year!

My office hours are 1:45-2:45 Monday through Friday. Feel free to send me emails with questions during this time. If you would like to meet (either video call or in-person) please make an appointment at least one day in advance. 

 

I will also be available at the school from 7:30-8:15 every morning, but often will be preparing for the day and may not be in my classroom. If you would like to meet in the mornings, please let me know the day before so I can be sure to be there to greet you!

What do you need?

​

The main thing you will need for this class is a  binder to keep your notes and papers in. I recommend either a 1" binder, or a section dedicated to math in a larger binder. A 3-prong folder will get full too quickly. 

I also recommend having a pencil pouch that will go inside your binder.

You will need a TI-30XS calculator. There are some available in the classroom for use if you forget yours, but to keep things as sanitary as possible it is highly recommended for you to bring your own! You can purchase one from Amazon here.

What will this site be used for?

This site is a great resource if you are ever absent, here you can find copies of the assignment that you can print from home, as well as lesson videos for whatever lesson you missed. You can also use this site to navigate to canvas, which is where all assignments will be submitted.
